Recently Melia Benoa held the thank you party by inviting top producer partners.
On this opportunity hotel would like to express the appreciation for the support and cooperation in the previous year, and on this occasion also introduced a new Premium Room that has just been developed. This event was highlighted by the quiz, door prices and Gala Dinner with Cabaret Show performance and at the end of the agenda the hotel provided a special gift for participants.

 

 

2 AWARDS FROM WOTIF GROUP

Wotif Group, operator of leading online travel brands in the Asia Pacific region, held on 9 October 2009 their inaugural Indonesia Hotel Awards in popular island destination, Bali. Set to be held annually, the Wotif Group Indonesia Hotel Awards aim to recognize top hotel partners who have attracted the most travellers through the Group’s accommodation sites - Wotif.com, AsiaWebDirect.com and LateStays.com - in the past twelve months. The Awards ceremony was a resounding success, with over 60 hoteliers and hotel executives gathered at a champagne breakfast event at the Oceans 27 boutique lounge on Kuta’s beachfront to celebrate the successes of their peers.

On this occasion, Melia Benoa has received 2 awards, one is a trophy for the best new comer asiawebdirect.com for the year 2008 - 2009 and another certificate awarded to Melia Benoa for top partner wotif.com for the year 2008 to 2009. Both awards were received by Melia Benoa E-Commerce Manager, Irwan Wahyudi (Mr.).


 

TEMPLE CEREMONY

On Wednesday 05 August 2009 that marked in the Balinese calendar as Wuku Shinta, Melia Benoa hotel together with the owning company, management, all staff and family celebrate the Balinese ceremony title “Full Moon Karo”. This celebration run once a year that consider as the Hotel's birthday base on the Balinese calendar. The 3 days ceremony involved all the Melia Benoa stake holder and run from the 4th - 6th of August 2009 which highlighted by mass prayer from all of the stake holder lead by the Balinese priest. The celebration is a gesture of thank you from everyone at Melia Benoa toward the universe which the Balinese belief as reason behind the present situation.

 

5 STAR CERTIFICATION

The Melia Benoa has recently received 5 Star certification issued by the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association. The certification assessment is depending on the size of the room, the services, the facilities, the amenities provided by a hotel and every hotel has to apply for a this certification. 

The application has to be sent with all details as required such as all drawings, plans, licenses, permits. The committee visits the Hotel on a short notice for the Inspection and verifies each and every details. They check the rooms, the restaurants, the kitchen, the cold storage, the garbage disposal system, the staff locker rooms, the staff toilets, the staff cafeteria, the service standards of the hotel, the grooming of the staff, etc. 

 

SAFETY AND SECURITY VERIFICATION

The certificate from Bali Regional Police was presented to Melia Benoa for the First Class Gold achievement in Five Stars Category as we are successful in compliance with the Hotel Security and Safety Standards verification. This verification is a compulsory for star rated hotels every two years and this certificate is valid from April 29th, 2009 until April 29th, 2011.Seen on the picture, Mr. Nakti, Melia Benoa Assistant Chief Security and Mr. Juan Antonio Sanchez, Melia Benoa General Manager with all department head.

 

UP SELLING TRAINING

Ms. Sharon Lee, Vice President Of Sales Sol Melia Asia Pacific recently presented Up Selling Training at Melia Benoa to Sales Department, Food And Beverage and Front Office DepartmentThis up selling skill is quite important since this is a superb way to increase the value of a sale by suggesting an accompanying product, and it is necessary for staffs that have a direct contact to the guests. By having this skill, all employees especially those who have a direct contact to the guests are expectedly can implement the up selling effectively when they are in charge. 

 

WIFI IS NOW AVAILABLE

Melia Benoa All Inclusive Resort is keep developing services to our guests. After refurbishment of all 32 units of New Executive Suite rooms, now Wi Fi connection is available in the whole area of the hotel including at Paseban Ball Room. This new service is provided to meet current trend demand where people traveling now – either for business or leisure - is always wants to be get connected. By having this new service Melia Benoa will get better opportunity to grab business from MICE.
